NATURE EXPERIENCE, BIRDING The 59-ha King William's Town Nature Reserve was proclaimed to conserve a patch of Valley Bushveld vegetation comprising thorny scrub. Despite its proximity to King William's Town, the reserve include common duiker and small grey mongoose. There is also a varied birdlife. Location: Southern part of the region; northern suburb of King William's Town. Access: From the town centre take the R63 towards Komga, following the signposts to the reserve. Accommodation: None. Other facilities: Walking trails and information broads Open: Throughout the year. Opening time: Sunrise to sunset
